LANGUAGE BARRIER EQUAL A theatrical encounter reminiscent of visiting your grandmother who speaks a different language. When a Czech and a Ukrainian speak English and cannot come up with a word, they resort to their mother tongue, and they still understand each other. How strong or permeable is the language barrier? How to understand each other so that we can share what we have in common? Basic words, simple recipes, a story about a little girl who got lost and cannot find her mother… A production created by current DAMU and FAMU students in collaboration with refugee students from theatre schools in Kharkiv, Kiev and Lviv.
